‘What Happened’

This collection, designed as a Mock Collection for Viktor&Rolf, was inspired by what is relevant in our current society versus the worlds history. About once a week, a magazine filled with fast food advertisements bragging about how cheap, fast, and accessible their food is lands in my mailbox without subscription. Each time I am blown away by the tactics of including coupons, deals and services, and how people actually respond positively to these Ads. This need for cheap accessibility is not specific to the food industry and it has effected our patience and attention spans. My goal in this collection was to shed light on what used to be relevant to society, versus what we consider relevant today.
